Alch Cera - the studio
Based in Frankston, Alch Cera is an artisan ceramic studio devoted to slow making, small-scale production, and thoughtful education. All works are handcrafted in-studio using traditional hand-building techniques and a restrained, material-led approach.
The studio creates one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces, functional homewares, and limited editions designed for longevity and daily life.
Alch Cera also offers intimate workshops and classes, providing a calm, inclusive space for learning and deep engagement with clay as material, method, and metaphor.
Alch Cera is the ceramic practice of Bambi, a multidisciplinary artist and experienced, fully VIT-registered (P–12) educator working across hand-built ceramics, sculpture, and functional form. Her work draws on alchemical symbolism, mythology, and old-world allegory, with each piece handmade to honour imperfection, and the quiet rituals of making.
With over a decade of experience working with diverse learners within some of Melbourne’s most elite schools, her workshops are guided by deep understanding of learning styles, creating calm, supportive, and inclusive environments.
